Dear 2005 Kendrah,
You’ll spend the first five years of your life at home doing little girl things. Soon after you’ll be starting kindergarten. You’ll cry on the first day by the way. From then till the end of middle school, you’ll be a top student. You’ll start doing your hair on your own in 7th grade. 8th grade will be the most important school year of your life because of all the lessons you’ll learn about people and relationships. Further in life you’ll refer to these lessons over and over again. Trust me, they’re reeaallly important. You’ll enter High school with a very special friend, Amari, that you’ll meet in the first grade and you’ll stay friends. You’ll have a lot of laughs and annoyances (A LOT of annoyances) with your family all throughout, but still love them. You’ll meet special people who will get close to your heart and cherish them. They’ll cherish you too, hello? Expect brief issues and fallouts to happen. Everyone has them haha. Throughout your early teens, you’ll develop a passion for taking pictures, cooking for others, and fragrances. You’ll go through a lot of embarrassing (and potentially embarrassing) moments. You’ll explore entertainment and spend a ton of hours watching sitcoms and comedians. I’d say more, but I gotta let you explore. Oh! and that reminds me. In 12th grade you put part of your writing online to share with others.
Love,
2022 Kendrah
